Meaning: The surprise gift means that God will not necessarily give what you are asking for on behalf of others, He will give them what they need.

THE INTERCESSION OF MOTHER MARY

Question: God, why should we pray to Mother Mary? How powerful is her intercession?

God’s answer:

Then God added: She is one to go-to

to be a go-to (person) means "being a person who can be turned to for expert knowledge, advice, or reliable performance, especially in a crucial situation; noting something that can always be relied on to bring satisfaction, success, or good results"⁴

Mother Mary’s statement on obtaining graces from God.

Meaning: God listens, God gives. We are the ones who do not accept. Our impatience, our insistence in our way, and wavering trust in God are the hindrances.

The intercessory grace that Mother Mary oftentimes gives is less of us obtaining favors (that’s already given) as it is helping us to accept the graces from God, and nourishing our faith and complete trust as God paves the way for His blessing to come to fruition.
